Bonnie Keen, "God Of Many Chances," (Reborn)

Singers who believe what they're singing with all their heart cannot be denied, and Bonnie Keen is undeniable. Despite a lot of pain in her past, Bonnie presses on and has brought her message of hope and encouragement to all those who will listen with her latest disc. If you remember Carly Simon's 1980s hit, "Let The River Run," then you'll want to hear Bonnie's "Parable Of The River," which makes you feel like you're on a grand ship cutting through the waves of life. "Sweet Forgiveness" may start out slow, but it turns into an uplifting declaration to sing along to as Bonnie revels in how merciful God is. "When God Says No" could be Bonnie's signature song, as it's dramatically honest about asking God for something but not receiving it and still being positive when God says no. The theme of "God Of Many Chances" seems to be that God is close to the brokenhearted, ready to pour out His love if we ask. Bonnie Keen's music will minister to hurting hearts.
